BACK by popular demand!

Its seriously crazyyyyyy to look and see that the last time I wrote on this bad boy was 5 months and 2 days ago.  I am the first to admit, I was getting bored with the same ol', same ol' but nevertheless, I am back!  So, to recap the last five months in a nut shell is basically one word, 'NUTS.'

First things first... golf went exremely well! I seriously LOVED my lessons and met a new friend, Laura, otherwise known as "Laura Golf" in my cell phone. This chicka is friggen adorable and amongst her awesome golf skills came a super duper hook up on my ( what would have been) $160 bio-chem book! She was a pharmacuetical rep for years and when things in the biz went south, she decided to get a job with Pearson (one of the biggest companies for science related textbooks)  Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Laura!
So, while out on the course, it was 'hook up central' on the the green for this cutie, and as single as they come, she would pass all the guys up who would have LOVED to have taken her on a date. Instead of her hooking up we would high fived our pink (yes, pink) clubs and  discuss all these eligible bachelors while having cocktails at our favorite hole. (19th of course)
As far as my golf game, I still need TONS of work, but it was exactly what I wanted to try this summer and had no guilt dropping some serious cash on my new gear.

Speaking of golf, Mike and I went to Whistling Straits golf course to watch the PGA tour. It was probably the best "last minute" decision we ever made.  The whole story is.... We were out on date night at our favorite restaurant/bar and the PGA was on one of the big screens and I expressed interest in going. Well, my actual words were "that would be soooooooooo friggen awesome to get tickets for tommorow, should we try to find some"  and after 3 flirtini's EVERYTHING seems like a great idea!
So, mike and I came home after dinner and did some research on Craigslist and sure enough... TONS of tickets were being sold. So it came down to who was going to answer our call at 10:30pm for tickets needed by 10am the next morning!  Well, we hit the jackpot!
Mike got a hold of a guy selling two tickets and a parking pass for $100!!!!  This was a steal people!  Normally its $125/person and $20 to park. BUT, it doesnt end there.... we meet this guy in Fond du Lac and we exchange our hundred burning a hole in our pocket and in return he gives us all the goodies listed above PLUS an info sheet stating that we had VIP tickets in the 'Champions Club."

Not knowing what this was, we arrive, park, head to the main gate and we spot this fancy club.  Not kidding... All you can drink (full bar) eat (BBQ shrimp, fancy sandwiches, cheese trays, fruit... the list goes on) air conditioned tent with the nicest bathrooms. (Everyone else had to buy $4 water, $10 cocktails, pay for $7 brats and use porta potties)  Seriously..... the coolest spur of the moment idea and greatest hookup ever! Did I mention I was 5 feet away from Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods?????  YAYYYY!   All in All in great day!

I also took a Microbiology class. I wont lie, at Edgewood, this class is dreaded! The professor is a total D-bag (so I hear) So I decided to take it at MATC to dodge it this Fall and needless to say, I LOVED IT!  By far the best science class and the greatest professor!  I was a tad intimidated by her, but by the end we were buds and to gloat a little, I managed to pull a 108% in the class!  Whoop Whoop!

We also  had our fair share of photo booths this summer too. So many that Mike and I decided to extend our crew to two more people, Sara and Zander! Were so excited to have our little BTB (Beyond the Booth) family. With much hesitation to expand (on my part), we now have 4 crews and we couldnt have done it without all of their help this summer! Thank you sooooo much Jon an Kelly, Katie and Luke and Sara and Zander!!!!!

Finally, we just celebrated our 2nd anniversary. We decided to make  Sundara Spa in the Dells a tradition and I  am telling you, this place gets better and better.  Not to mention that when we go, its right before classes start again, so its kind of the BIG hooray of the summer.

Last year, Mike and I got the 'Warming Glow' package which consists of two 50 min massages in the couples room, an aromatherapy candle that you pick out together and they burn it in the room and the wax is actually the massage oil. AMAZING! You also get two robes that are to die for and a Villa to stay. Well this year we went ala cart(sp?) and got a regular suite (the Villa was HUGE) and I got the Shea butter indulgence body treatment (scrub, wrap and massage in one) and the Radiant Glow facial while Mike got the Hot stone massage.  All I can say is AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.  The best way to spend the weekend with my sweetie!  Love you babes!

Now, here we are.... up to date. Classes started, Badger Saturdays are in full effect and I offically HATE biochem! So wish me luck through this class, because Im pretty sure you can find me drowning my sorrows in a cocktail on Badger saturdays or any other day of the week! hahaha.
